The sweltering summer is a physical reminder that we as a planet are at a literal boiling point. The creation and expression of art has never been more important. I am profoundly grateful for my family and the community of artists who share the gift of collaboration.

Barrio Boy the feature, based on the successful short of the same name is in the final stages of casting. We are so excited with the first rate ensemble of brilliant actors that is being assembled. The passion driving this project will bring this urgently needed narrative the attention it deserves within the independent film production community and audiences nation wide. Off Track Betty a short film literally shot on film by writer/director Clayton Dean Smith was a NY Times Critics Pick and winner of Audience Favorite Narrative Short at the Brooklyn International Film Festival!

Most of the NYC locations sadly no longer exist as does the film lab Deluxe which graced OTB as one of its final films to process. We are delighted to team up with talented director Kenneth Lott to cast the feature film City on the Make written by Terrence Greco and produced by Sania Jhankar of Luminous Studios. The story is a modern day tragedy about teenagers in desperate circumstances inadvertently igniting a gang war and narcotics investigation when they stumble upon a botched robbery and help themselves to the spoils. We are anticipating to cast early Fall.

Jennifer Phang’s brilliant film Advantageous continues To receive well deserved accolades. It was recently included on The 50 Best Sci-Fi Films of the 21st Century List!
