The Relief of Spring’s Promise.

The Camellia plant also known as “Spring’s Promise” symbolizes love, admiration and affection. What intrigues me more about this plant is its ability to bloom in the winter to prepare for spring’s arrival. Like the ground breaking play and then musical, Spring Awakening, we are called to the adolescence of self discovery and the boldness that pathIMG_2862 takes especially during darker times. Regardless of the political climate, and a tough industry we press on led by the need to support stories worth telling.

Congratulations to talented writer, collaborator and friend Maryam Myika Day for making the SAG Indie 2025 Narrative Fellowship Semi-Finals with Stowe Story Labs for her urgently timely screenplay, Become American. I am honored to  be attached to this riveting feature as casting director and co-producer.

As the festival circuit winds down for political farce, Key Lime Pie we are proud of all the accolades this campy short received. Congratulations to emerging writer/director Allen Delgaldo and the brilliant cast and crew.

The Black Dog is Nipping at Your Heels  by writer/director/Sundance Alumni  Moon Molson is a surrealist examination of mental illness amongst young black men. This gripping short is currently in post and I’m excited to see where it goes. I am honored to cast and co-produce.

The Last Day of Byron Bray by writer/director and my producing partner Michael Borrelli is a poignant examination of dignity, end of life and agency from the senior queer experience. This short based on true events is being produced by West 52nd Street films and I am delighted to be on the team as co-producer and casting director. Casting will be underway soon.

We are gearing up to enter the festival circuit for our coming of age short, Stateside. This beautiful film by writer/director Dennis Shinners of Cautious Films is a quiet, internal snapshot of intimate awakening. It was a joy to cast and produce this personal and universal narrative.
