The summer was a productive and gratifying whirlwind of activity. Happily Fall’s arrival is continuing the momentum.
Here is a brief update on our projects:
The first official Barrio Boy the feature, special event took place on October 26th. This fundraiser hosted by iconic New York City and Fire Island diva, Ms. Lavinia Draper took place at the legendary Stonewall Inn. A fabulous time was had by all. http//www.cautiousfilms.com
Window Dressing a short film with a big message written and directed by Stephen Girouard has completed post production and getting ready to hit the festival circuit. The cast and crew enjoyed a private screening held at the beautiful International Arts Movement space in NYC
Off Track Betty a short film literally shot on film by writer/director Clayton Dean Smith is already gaining attention before its official release. A love letter to New York, this poignant film promises to deliver. We anticipate a successful festival run. http://www.offtrackbettythemovie.com

Most recently celebrated at the 22nd Women Make Waves Festival in Taiwan.
Moon Molson’s The Bravest, The Boldest is knocking it out of the park in festivals worldwide. It screened theatrically qualifying as a contender for a possible 2016 short film Oscar nomination
Our next shooting day has been scheduled for our feature documentary in production, And…Scene a Woman’s Journey to Walk Again continuing our commitment to tell this story no matter what.
We will be capturing the gala fundraiser for our subject Jamie Petrone’s inclusive conservatory Thisability featureing performances in the mixed ability
and Broadway communities.

The joy of teaching evolves as I’m fortunate to work with young actors at The Performing Option www.ThePerformingOption.com , workshops for the SAG-AFTRA Foundation, and as a private coach. It is often the case that I feel I am the one learning. As I tell my students life begins when you get out of your comfort zone. Having said that, I’ve accepted an invitation to be a course developer and adjunct faculty for NYU’s School of Professional Studies. www.scps.nyu.edu
This inaugural advanced diploma course intends to capture the professional world of the entertainment industry within a teachable, academic context.
My colleagues Margaret Emory of SW Artists, Tammy Green of the Green Agency and myself are currently creating our syllabus and lesson plans. Class begins Spring 2016!
